Life can be unpredictable.
Your legal representation shouldn’t be.
When the unexpected happens, put your trust in our 70 plus shared years of legal expertise. We practice personal injury, business litigation, workers compensation law, social security law, and much more.
Personal Injuries can arise from a variety of circumstances including vehicle collisions, dangerous conditions on property, defective products or professional negligence.
Most business litigation involves America’s smaller companies, not the giant corporations you see in the news. Make no mistake, however: even smaller companies deal in millions of dollars and the stakes are high.
Wrongful death cases present unique issues. Not only does Georiga have specific rules about who can bring such a case, but family members are trying to handle a serious legal matter while grieving over a huge loss in their lives.
Mediation is a process utilized by all Courts, both State and Federal, in Georgia. It helps get cases settled more quickly and cheaply than litigation, which can be time-consuming and expensive.
Employment law is a complicated and ever-changing area of the law. An attorney who fully understands the intricacies of the law can help you obtain fair compensation for the wrong you endured.
Social Security Disability
A Social Security Disability case is very different from other legal matters. The laws, regulations and procedures for Social Security Disability and SSI claims are extremely technical, and require detailed legal knowledge.
An injury at work can be devastating. It may be difficult to pay medical bills and support family members that depend on you. Dealing with an employer and its insurance company can be overwhelming.
Although we have an emphasis in Personal Injuries, Job Injuries, Disability claims and Corporation/Business matters, our practice is general and we frequently handle other legal matters as needed

Trust our experience
“We have worked on several cases with Leslie and tried a trucking case to verdict with him, which resulted in the largest verdict of its kind ever in Whitfield County. Leslie is an exceptional lawyer and a fine person. He knows the Whitfield County and surrounding county court systems well and is adept at navigating them. Leslie is widely respected by judges, his peers, and the community.”
“Leslie is an excellent choice for a lawyer.”
– Mike Moran, Law & Moran, Atlanta, GA
“Like Leslie, I have experience representing both sides of accident cases. I enjoy Leslie’s ability to see cases from all sides, and his experience trying cases to north Georgia juries adds to his credibility with Plaintiffs and insurers alike. Leslie communicates insightfully, but in an easy-going, thoughtful manner, which I have found adds comfort to all involved, especially Plaintiffs who are typically new to the process.”
“In my view, you simply won’t find a mediator any better than Leslie Waycaster.”
– Jeff Hood, Hood Law LLC
“I have worked on many cases with Leslie over the years as he has served as opposing counsel, co-counsel, and as a mediator.
“He does excellent work in all of these roles.”
“The insight he brings from many years of representing both plaintiffs and defendants is particularly helpful when he serves as a mediator, allowing him to effectively evaluate cases and to assist parties in bringing their cases to resolution.”
– Jonathan Bledsoe, The Minor Firm, Dalton, GA
“Leslie Waycaster offers a combination of experience, expertise, hard work, and good-natured professionalism that is unparalleled amongst the lawyers in our community.”
“I would not hesitate to seek Leslie’s help with the most difficult circumstances, because I could count on him to deliver.”
– Joseph Blake Evans, Esq., Law Office of Joseph Blake Evans, PC, Dalton GA
“I have known Leslie and been a colleague of his since the late 80’s. I have always known him to be of exemplary character. In addition, he is a great trial lawyer and mediator, very thorough. His knowledge and experience are attributes that are possessed by only a few. I frequently refer clients to him and entrust him to care for them as I would. I have also associated him on several occasions and we have worked beside each other, always to beneficial results for our mutual clients.”
“I would strongly recommend him to handle your personal injury, wrongful death claim, business litigation matter, and/or mediation.”
– Greg Kinnamon, Attorney, The Kinnamon Firm, Dalton, GA
“I had the pleasure of working with Leslie on a business litigation case involving wage and hour issues.”
“Leslie’s experience makes him a great communicator, and the clients know that Leslie really cares about them.”
“Having that deep level of trust between attorney and client is a tremendous asset for a case, as I saw first-hand working with Leslie.”

“I have been fortunate to represent a lot of good people who had bad things happen to them. We have had cases which resulted in awards of large sums of money, but we also take cases of smaller value, if we think we can help someone. If we cannot help that person we try to find someone who can.” Leslie Waycaster
When not practicing law, Mr. Waycaster enjoys traveling, riding just about anywhere in some kind of boat, and spoiling his granddaughter.
70 plus combined years of results
We’ve helped thousands of clients
I was represented by Leslie Waycaster in 2010 after my husband’s accident. I can highly recommend him as an attorney. Leslie is not only very knowledgeable and very good at what he does and in my opinion, one of the best attorneys in Dalton but he is also very caring and compassionate about his clients. I was pleased and honestly surprised on how much I was updated throughout the whole process.
It was nice to have an attorney that cared so much and felt my pain.
I’m not sure if Leslie can see this or not but if you can I would like to say “THANK YOU” Leslie for being by my side every step of the way!!!
